CCC collaboration is driving more clinical research activity

The Society of Radiographers is taking industrial action in hospitals across England from 08:00 on Tuesday 25th July to 08:00 on Thursday 27th July 2023. This page explains what that means for patients at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.

The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust has received national funding to open a new community diagnostic centre in Paddington Village, Liverpool, on behalf of the NHS In Cheshire and Merseyside. The diagnostic centre will see people referred by their GPs or other hospitals who need tests for a wide range of conditions including musculoskeletal problems, gastrointestinal illnesses and symptoms that could be cancer.

The British Medical Association has announced that junior doctors across England will take strike action for five days in July and consultants will take industrial action for two days.
