We want you to feel supported and as prepared as possible for your care at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre. This page includes information aimed to help you prepare for your first consultation with one of our consultants.
You will have received a text message and/or a letter with an appointment date and time with a member of the consultant team. Your appointment could be:
- Video consultation using Attend Anywhere
- Telephone consultation, or
- Face-to-face consultation at a hospital outpatient department
Information to bring with you for your first appointment:
- A list of any tablets or medication that you may be taking
- A list of any questions you would like to ask your consultant / healthcare team
Additional support e.g. if you have accessibility or communication needs:
If you need any additional support at your appointment, we can arrange this if you tell us about it. (For example, additional support because you have a disability, health condition or any communication needs e.g. an interpreter or chaperone.)
If this applies to you, call us on 0151 556 5000 and choose Option 3 (the 'outpatient appointments' option). We will take the details, update your health record and make the relevant team aware so they can arrange this for you.
