Our Green Plan: Creating a Greener CCC

Climate change is now widely recognised as one of the greatest threats to public health globally, nationally and in our region. We also know that environmental factors including climate change and air pollution can lead to increased risk of cancer.

So as a leader in cancer care, we have a professional and ethical duty to do all we can to help tackle climate change, reduce our carbon emissions and create greener, more environmentally sustainable healthcare. We are also part of the national NHS drive to create a Greener NHS and achieve net zero carbon by 2045.

Our Green Plan 2022-2027 sets out our strategy for achieving net zero carbon and providing services in a way that is environmentally sustainable and delivers social value.
