People who may have difficulty communicating over the phone - for example, if they are deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired - can use Relay UK when contacting our Hotline. The Hotline is a 24/7 service for people who are currently being treated at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre or completed treatment in the last six weeks and need urgent advice because they feel unwell e.g. with treatment complications or side-effects.

Paddington Community Diagnostic Centre now provides CT scans as well as MRI and ultrasound scans and blood tests. The centre is run by The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust on behalf of the NHS in Cheshire and Merseyside and means people waiting for tests at local hospitals can have them more quickly and conveniently in a NHS community diagnostic centre.

Members of the British Medical Association (BMA) are taking industrial action from Tuesday 19th September 2023 as part of their national pay dispute with the Government. This may affect some NHS services but patients should attend appointments as planned unless contacted to say otherwise.
