Relay UK: Making our Hotline accessible to people who are deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired

Posted 29th September 2023

Cancer can affect anyone so it's really important our services are accessible to all. We know that communicating over the phone may be difficult if you are deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired. That's why we work with Relay UK to make sure you can contact our Hotline when you need to.

The Hotline is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by specialist nurses trained to advise and care for patients who suddenly become ill or need urgent advice about treatment complications or side-effects. (Note: The Hotline is only for people currently being treated at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre or who completed treatment in the last six weeks.)

You can contact The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre Hotline using Relay UK if you are deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired. (Other patients can call the Hotline on 0800 169 5555.).
