There are some temporary changes affecting travel to and from Clatterbridge Cancer Centre - Liverpool for the next 10 days due to roadworks on Pembroke Place. The road will be closed coming up from town to the hospital. As a result, the car park shuttle bus will use the bus stop OPPOSITE the Dental Hospital instead of the one outside it. Drivers dropping off or picking up at the hospital will need to come down Crown Street heading into town.

Oliver Cooper-Grace, 22, was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2021 after weeks of headaches and dizzy spells. He is now under the care of The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and has only missed a couple of Everton's home matches since his diagnosis. Oliver has shared his story to raise awareness of brain tumours.

Patients visiting Clatterbridge Cancer Centre - Liverpool need to be aware of an important change. From 1st April 2022, all our free patient parking will be in the new Paddington Village Car Park on Elm Grove, Smithdown Lane, Liverpool. We will no longer have any free patient parking in Mount Pleasant Car Park. If you use Mount Pleasant Car Park after 31st March 2022, the car park operators will charge you the usual public rate. We will not be able to validate your ticket for free parking.

Clatterbridge Diagnostics, a new NHS community diagnostic centre on our Wirral site, has welcomed its 10,000th patient since opening in July 2021. Clatterbridge Diagnostics is a partnership between The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and Wirral University Teaching Hospital. It was one of the first community diagnostic centres in England to open and provides additional capacity so people can access any tests more quickly than would otherwise be the case.
