Specialist nurse, Carol McCormick from The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust, has transformed the way people receive intravenous cancer treatments with the trial project being highlighted at an international conference which took place in Athens last week (16-18th October 2022).

As part of the enabling works to support the development of the Cheshire and Merseyside Surgical Centre at Clatterbridge, the service road at the site will need to be closed from 4.30pm on Tuesday 25th October until 5pm on Monday the 31st October.

Consultant Clinical Oncologist Professor Arthur Sun Myint was the Lifetime Achievement Award winner at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre Staff Excellence Awards 2022. As Prof Myint was overseas and could not attend the event in person, Chief Executive Liz Bishop presented it to him at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre - Wirral. Specialist staff from across The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust have been thanked for their dedication to patient care at the organisation’s annual awards ceremony which highlights and applauds the hard work and commitment of staff working to care for people with cancer from across Cheshire, Merseyside, North Wales and the Isle of Man.

Lindsey Dawson has been appointed Deputy Chief Nurse of The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and will join the Trust on 5th December 2022.
