Who will you dedicate a Fairy to this Christmas?
Throughout December, hundreds of fairies – designed by Emma Rodgers - will once again be displayed at Clatterbridge centres at Liverpool, Wirral and Aintree, each one representing someone special. By dedicating a fairy and adding a message for someone special with your donation, you will make a vital difference to the lives of cancer patients and their families in our community.
With a donation of just £20, you can bring joy by dedicating a fairy on our Christmas Trees across our centres.
For a donation of £40, you can dedicate a fairy, but you'll also receive a fairy pin badge as a token of our gratitude.
For a truly generous donation of £100, you can dedicate a fairy, receive a special fairy pin badge, and treasure a limited edition fairy decoration that will forever remind you of the magic you've created.
The donations you make this Christmas will support vital research like our Cancer Vaccine trials. This exciting research is happening in our region, with our donors funding the research that we do in our hospital, for our patients. Without your support, this work wouldn’t be possible.
The Fairy Appeal is a perfect way to do this.
For a donation of £20 or above, you can choose to dedicate a Fairy, which will go on our Christmas Tree's too for everyone to see. You will also have the opportunity to receive a special lapel badge or a limited edition Fairy decoration – designed by Emma Rodgers - to display at home.
Your support for this year’s Fairy Appeal will help us to continue to make a vital difference to the lives of local people with cancer.
In 2021, at 20 weeks pregnant, Laura from St Helens was diagnosed with a terminal glioblastoma brain tumour and given the devastating news that she only had a year to live.
This Christmas, Laura can look forward to the festive season with her husband Daniel and daughter Sienna, thanks to the care she is receiving at Clatterbridge.
This Christmas, we're thrilled to launch our Virtual Christmas Tree as part of the Fairy Appeal. Each dedication made through our Christmas Appeal makes a lasting impact to the lives of people in our community with cancer.

Adrian's Story
My name is Adrian, I’m 54. Husband, Father and Grandfather. I’d like to tell you about my experience with The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and how your support for this year's Fairy Appeal could help people like me.
A year ago, I was told I had terminal cancer, that without treatment, there was a “100% chance you’re going to die” and it hit me like a ton of bricks.
At that point I was told there was a clinical trial at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre that I might be eligible for. It was immunotherapy, with a cancer vaccine, which is the first trial of it’s kind in the UK and it had been made possible with the support of donations to Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.
While I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support you give to Clatterbridge Cancer Charity, I also want to ask if you will make a kind donation this Christmas by giving to the Fairy Appeal?
