Join Team Clatterbridge and take on the beautiful Peak District Trek!
This one-day adventure starts in the incredible Hope Valley – the heart of the Peak District, home to picturesque and ancient landscapes. Join us and discover the rugged beauty of the Peaks!
You'll trek through the Peak District, passing by scenic countryside, quaint villages and charming farmhouses. Along the way, you'll also take in stunning views of the surrounding limestone crags and valleys. Once you reach Hollins Cross your route descends towards Edale, passing through lush green fields and rolling hills. The descent is gentle, with breathtaking views of the iconic Kinder Scout in the distance.
From the summit of Kinder Scout, you’ll be rewarded with incredible views of the surrounding landscape, including the Pennines and the Dark Peak. After a few celebratory photos, it’ll be time to make our way back down!
On your descent towards Hayfield, you’ll pass through some of the most scenic areas of the Peak District, including the Kinder plateau. The route is steep in places and can be a challenge, but the stunning views make your hard work worthwhile. Upon reaching Hayfield you’ll celebrate your achievements with a glass of fizz and receive your challenge medal.

Once you've registered, you can set up your JustGiving Page by visiting justgiving.com/ccc-events, and if you would like to wear a Clatterbridge t-shirt, we ask that a minimum of £25 is raised before we can send one out.

By taking part in the Peak District Trek, you are helping us to deliver pioneering cancer care to patients throughout our region. 1 in 2 of us will be affected by cancer, but with your help we can be at the forefront of cancer treatments, and we can fund vital research, the latest therapies, and innovations in cancer treatment.
We are so often told that The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre is unlike any other hospital. The Charity has funded a range of projects which help to to make Clatterbridge a place that stays in people’s hearts, including bringing cancer treatment closer to patients’ homes and breaking boundaries by becoming the first in the UK to offer a number of treatments.
