The Celebration Ball

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has helped us in recent years to make the Clatterbridge Annual Charity Ball a huge success, raising hundreds of thousands of pounds to help cancer patients and their families.

With no ball this year we would be delighted if you would consider making a donation in lieu of your attendance to ensure that we are able to keep on providing our patients with the services they need during this exceptional time of need. If you would like to discuss your support in more detail then please contact Paul.winter5@nhs.net.

Thank you so much for your support, we look forward to seeing you back at the ball in October 2021.

A donation of £500 could help to fund equipment for our newly appointed Arts Coordinator. These roles are shown to make a huge difference to the mood of our patients by encouraging them to write, paint or draw whilst they are in hospital – even more vital during the pandemic whilst visitors are not permitted.

£1,000 could help to deliver medicine direct to the doorstep of our most vulnerable patients by funding our medicine delivery service for a week. This initiative has operated since March and has helped hundreds of patients during the pandemic.

For a donation of £5,000 donors can have their own sponsored dove in the Winter Garden of the new hospital, as part of Emma Rodger’s fantastic sculpture, Primavera. These can be dedicated to a loved one or bear the donors own name. A short film from Emma can be found below.

Equipping each of the 110 en-suite bedrooms in the new Liverpool hospital costs approximately £10,000. For such a gift, donors will receive recognition on the wards for their generosity and the knowledge that the patients within are being cared for in the best possible environment.
