We are extremely grateful to our Volunteers for all the help and support that our volunteers provide us across the Merseyside region. Their commitment to our organisation allows us to add addition services at the Clatterbridge Cancer Trust for our patients and their families.

"I always planned to do some voluntary work when I retired and because of personal circumstances the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity was the perfect choice. My primary reason was to say thank you to the fantastic staff as the Cancer Centre for the treatment I received. However since then I have come to realise that it is a wonderful centre that helps many cancer patients in our local area with all funds raised going directly to research, machinery and medicines.

Being a volunteer in the charity office has been great fun, particularly getting involved in the fund raising events. These can be quite tiring but the people you meet along the way can be both inspiring and brave and makes you realise exactly what is important in life.

I would wholeheartedly recommend everyone to give volunteering a try as it does change your life and definitely for the better."

Office Volunteer, Carole.
