A huge thank you to everyone who made Lead The Way Snowdon a fantastic success! We had a great time and it was wonderful to see so many of you with us, completing the challenge and raising over £12,500 for Clatterbridge!

THANK YOU!

We are adjusting things slightly for 2023 and we will be back with...

'Glow Green: Snowdon Sunrise!'

Lead The Way: Snowdon is an event that everyone can take part in (aged 10 and above); whether you're celebrating a life, remembering a loved one or just enjoy walking with other likeminded people this is a fantastic way to support the incredible work carried out at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.

Following on from it's success in 2021, The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity are delighted to see Lead The Way: Snowdon return this September as we conquer Mt. Snowdon once again! Take on a total of 9 miles from the Llanberis Community Centre to the summit and back for a fantastic buffet to celebrate with your friends and family, as we walk against cancer together.

If we’re honest it’s a little over 9 miles at 9.3 miles in total, but you’ll forgive us for that when you experience the ecstasy of reaching the summit and looking out as far as the eye can see (weather permitting!). Lead The Way: Snowdon is a guided trek, alongside a qualified Mountain Rescue team and whilst it may not be for the littlest ones its certainly the perfect event for those looking to challenge themselves.

This is an event that is truly unique and is an incredible adventure for all. Sign up today and help us continue to support patients living with cancer throughout Merseyside, Cheshire and beyond.

Fundraising and Donation Questions

As with all Charity events it's vitally important that we look to raise as much as we can for our cause, and Lead The Way: Snowdonia is no different.

For this event we ask that each participant fundraises a minimum of £50, or alternatively if you do not wish to fundraise we offer you the chance at registration to make a £50 donation per person then instead.

Registration fees help the Charity to cover the cost of staging the event, and the fundraising helps us to provide outstanding care, support and facilities to those who need The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in our region.
