Radiotherapy Liaison and Support Practitioner

The Radiotherapy Liaison and Support Practitioner facilitate continuity of care for patients who are receiving outpatient radiotherapy, and who are not linked with a tumour site-specific nurse.

They can provide:

• Information, advice and support to patients and carers regarding treatment and possible side effects
• Communication with your GP, District Nurses and other community support services
• Referrals to other members of the multi-professional care team

The Radiotherapy Liaison and Support Practitioner can be contacted Monday – Friday, 09.00am – 17.00pm on 0151 556 5314 or during weekends and Bank Holidays a trained oncology nurse is available to answer any queries and can be contacted on 0151 556 5000.
