Dr Seamus Coyle is a cell and molecular biologist who retrained as a medical doctor. In addition to being a consultant in palliative medicine, Seamus is the research lead for the ‘Biology of Dying’ project, which is dedicated to understanding the physiology of dying and developing objective processes recognising the dying process.
