Profile

Dr Butt is a consultant haematologist and lead clinician for MPN and CML at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.

He is a member of the NCRI's MPN Clinical Trials Subgroup, with an active clinical trial portfolio. He has contributed to several British Society for Haematology guidelines, most recently leading on the guidelines for the investigation and management of eosinophilia. He is currently developing the UK's first national registry for patients with myelofibrosis.
