Dr May has worked at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre since 2014. She completed an undergraduate degree in Medical Physics at The University of Liverpool and completed her Medical degree at Newcastle University.

Dr May specialises in treating Central Nervous System (CNS) tumours including primary and secondary brain cancer, spinal cancer and a wide variety of benign brain tumours, utilising radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

She is the Prinicipal Investigator for an investigational drug trial and a sub investigator for all trials in the CCC CNS trials portfolio.
