Profile:

Dr Monnery joined the Trust as a consultant in October 2018 and is Clinical Lead for Palliative and Supportive Care at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.

Dan is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Liverpool and was named NHS England National Clinical Advisor for Enhanced Supportive Care in 2021 due to his work on developing clinical outcome measures from early palliative care interventions.

Alongside clinical work, Dan enjoys teaching and runs a number of teaching clinics as well as external education days for multiprofessionals focussing on symptom control in cancer.
