Top Liverpool artist commissioned for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity Mural

The artist behind the famous Liver Bird Wings in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle has started a new work for The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.
Paul Curtis has been commissioned by our charity to paint the hoardings at the old BHS store in Lord Street.
The mural will be ready for Saturday’s Let’s Go Green charity campaign launch.
The fundraising drive is part of an appeal to raise £15m towards the building of the new Clatterbridge hospital in Liverpool city centre and towards improvements to Clatterbridge’s Wirral site.
Our annual fundraising drive takes place from February 3-11, and people in Wirral and beyond are doing their bit to help transform cancer care for people in the region.
This year Let’s Go Green will be bigger and better and now some of our most famous buildings and structures are joining in.
The Seacombe Ferry Terminal, Dee Suspension Bridge, Liverpool Playhouse and the Unity Theatre in Liverpool will be lit up for the occasion.
This will be in addition to a series of landmarks including the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton, Birkenhead and Wallasey Town Halls, Bidston Lighthouse, Liverpool’s Everyman Theatre and Liverpool Town Hall.
