Start Today, Shape Tomorrow – find out how at our Nurse Recruitment Open Evening

Posted 14th June 2017

On Wednesday 28 June we’re hosting an open evening for nurses and are looking for passionate and enthusiastic nurses to join our team and shape our future.

These are exciting times for the Trust with our Transforming Cancer Care agenda, come along and hear about it!

As one of the UK’s leading specialist cancer centres, we have hugely ambitious plans for ensuring every patient receives truly outstanding care and can access the most advanced treatments and clinical trials. We’re expanding with a major 11-floor new hospital in the heart of Liverpool on the same thriving research and healthcare campus as the University of Liverpool and Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

We’re here to deliver the best cancer care to the people we serve and we’re looking for applications from those who share that commitment and our values: Putting people first; Achieving excellence; Passionate about what we do; Always improving our care; and Looking to the future.

The Trust has recently received an overall rating of ‘outstanding’ from the CQC and currently has vacancies for:

Chemotherapy Band 5 Staff Nurses at our Aintree and Liverpool Hubs, and

Band 5 Staff Nurses within Integrated Care which includes three inpatient wards caring for patients undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy, brachytherapy and supportive therapies, a Teenage and Young Adult Unit, acute care step up beds and a 24/7 patient advice Hotline.

This event will give you the opportunity to meet some of the team, take a tour of the hospital and have the opportunity to be considered for a position with the Trust via an interview process. If you are interested in joining our team and support the Trust with our vision to provide the best cancer care, please apply online and come along on the 28th June!
