Congratulations to Brian Marsland, Head of Proton Therapy, winner of the Staff Achievement Award for August 2017. Brian was nominated by staff. Brian remained calm throughout an unexpected incident and was a real inspiration to his colleagues. This is what they had to say...

"Brian Marsland worked extremely hard in difficult circumstances over an extended period of time to service and repair the equipment so that patients were able to complete their treatment as planned. This is a clear example of putting patients first and Brian's exemplary attitude and dedication is a credit to The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and the Physics Department."
