Services on 9th & 10th March: Junior doctor industrial action

Posted 8th March 2016

Patients due to attend The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre on Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th March should come as planned unless we have contacted you directly to say otherwise. Although there is national industrial action by junior doctors, our services will be operating and you should attend the Centre as normal unless we have informed you otherwise. (During any industrial action, we work closely with union colleagues to minimise the impact on patients and to ensure that patients are informed in advance if their appointments may need to be rescheduled.)

Patients should continue to attend The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre as normal unless we contact you directly to say otherwise.

When you arrive for your appointment, there may be a small, peaceful picket line beside the dual carriageway outside the Clatterbridge health park. There will be no picketing on the health park. Staff on the picket line will not attempt to stop people or traffic from entering the health park.
