Nicky's Radio Merseyside interview

Posted 29th April 2014

Dr Nicky Thorp, Associate Medical Director and Consultant Clinical Oncologist, was on BBC Radio Merseyside this morning, along with patient John Toole.

They were talking about the report published today that shows that 50% of people diagnosed with cancer can now expect to live at least a decade. That compares with less than 25% in the 1970s.

If you didn't catch Nicky and John's interview, you can listen again via the Radio Merseyside website any time in the next week at http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01x61d6. Just click the Play button and move the slider along to about 1 hour and 5 minutes into the programme.
