New website launched to show cancer stats from across the country

Posted 20th August 2014

Public Health England and Macmillan have launched a new website which gives a breakdown of cancer statistics in specific areas from across the country.

The local cancer intelligence toolkit offers a range of information that will help people understand the changing cancer population. It details what the changing cancer story means for each area by giving headline information on numbers, needs and experiences. It includes:

• Prevalence
• Incidence
• Mortality
• Survival
• Patient experience
• Routes to and from diagnosis

You can also view a video which explains how to use the toolkit.
