Liverpool Echo: Exclusive details of how new cancer hospital could look

Posted 30th September 2014

Today's Liverpool Echo features an exclusive on how Liverpool's new cancer hospital could look if proposals get the go-ahead following public consultation and business cases.

Our Transforming Cancer Care proposals would see the development of a major new cancer hospital on the same site as the Royal Liverpool University Hospital and the University of Liverpool. It would open in 2018 and would be a key element in a £118m investment in expanding and improving cancer care in Merseyside and Cheshire.

The Liverpool Echo article is based on an interview with Project Director Fiona Jones and architect Ged Couser and highlights the fact that people have until 19th October 2014 to give their views on the proposals in the Transforming Cancer Care public consultation.
