July’s Staff Award Winners Announced

Congratulations to Specialty Registrars Anna Olsson-Brown, Joanna Connor and Elizabeth Crolla who are July’s staff award winners.

There is a shortage of GP junior trainee doctors being recruited nationally, resulting in our Trust losing three GP trainees. This could have serious implications on our ability to deliver inpatient services. The proposed solution is to employ three clinical fellows. The registrars worked together and have taken personal responsibility to ensure the Trust has been able to advertise for these posts nationally and locally within a one week deadline. They are also actively promoting these vacancies across trainee networks and in junior doctor messes in order to maximise our chances of recruiting into these important positions.
