To keep you as up to date as possible with the latest guidance in regards to cancer care and how The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre is caring for our patients during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we have added more information to our dedicated coronavirus page here.

This page includes information on:

  • Cancer care during the coronavirus outbreak
  • Steps we have taken to support patients
  • Treatment during coronavirus
  • Reviewing/restating treatment
  • Protecting yourself from coronavirus
  • Visitor information
  • What to do if you have coronavirus symptoms
  • Public Health England advice

We are also working closely with other hospitals to protect cancer care across Cheshire and Merseyside during the coronavirus pandemic. Urgent cancer care has remained a priority for the NHS throughout and Oncologists, surgical teams and other specialists are working together to ensure that all patients receive the care and support they need.

We would like to remind patients if you have any further questions regarding coronavirus in relation to your treatment or clinic appointment, please don’t hesitate to contact The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre COVID-19 Helpline on 0151 318 8048 (Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm).
