Information for patients on 20th October

Posted 17th November 2014

If you are due to attend The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre on Monday, please come along as planned unless we contact you directly to say otherwise.

There is a national strike from 9am-1pm on Monday 20th October by members of the Society of Radiographers who work in the NHS in England, but your care will continue as planned unless we have contacted you directly to say otherwise.

Statement:

The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust said: “We have well-developed systems in place and have been working with union colleagues to ensure patient safety and quality of care is not affected, while respecting people’s lawful right to strike. Urgent and emergency care will be unaffected and all patients’ essential needs will be met. Any non-emergency patients whose appointments need to be rescheduled will be contacted directly. Patients should attend their appointment as planned unless we contact them directly to say otherwise.”
