Healthcare Assistant Daniel Hitmough is April's Staff Award winner

Daniel was nominated for going the extra mile. Over the past year he has been studying sign language in his own time and is now using his new skills on the unit. This is a fantastic achievement and is already making a huge difference for some of our patients. A recent patient said he was overwhelmed that someone could understand him and help him feel at ease.
