Clatterbridge Chief Pharmacist wins prestigious healthcare finance award

Posted 13th December 2019

The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre prides itself on collaborating with other healthcare organisations across the region to support the provision of care for patients in all trusts.

Our Chief Pharmacist, Helen Poulter-Clark is a clinical lead in Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership, a group which sets out how the health and care system can remain fit for the future.

Last week, Helen and her colleagues from CMHCP, alongside Mersey Internal Audit Agency (MIAA) picked up the award for Value and Innovation at the national Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMC) Awards, the Oscars of the healthcare finance world!

CMHCP and MIAA were awarded for their Medicines Optimisation Programme, which unites all members of the Pharmacy community across the region to drive innovation, save money and use medicines in the best possible way for the benefit of patients.

Congratulations to Helen and all the team on being recognised for their hard work.
