Research Strategy 2021-26

The Trust Research Strategy has a vision to ensure that research and innovation are central to our world-class cancer treatment and care.

At the heart of the Research Strategy (2021-26) is the strengthening of links and collaborations through our flagship hospital in Liverpool – within the city’s Knowledge Quarter – and academic partners, including the University of Liverpool, other NHS organisations and stakeholders, which will improve the outcomes of cancer patients.

This five-year plan builds on our focus and reputation for always enhancing services for the benefit of patients, with a strategic goal to continually improve choices, care, experience and outcomes for patients through cutting-edge research.
